Also available on the Virgin Media Player

MALAKI
He’s one of Ireland’s most prolific and fast-rising rappers. Railing against the ‘hard man’ archetype many Irish boys are raised to uphold, he tackles themes of transformation and toxic masculinity with ingenuity and hard-hitting quips, wearing his heart proudly on his sleeve

ISAAC BUTLER
He’s an independent pop singer-songwriter from Dublin who’s spent the past few years writing songs and preparing for post-lockdown gigs

RSAG
Under the name Rarely Seen Above Ground, Kilkenny multi-instrumentalist and producer Jeremy Hickey, has released 4 albums.

KODALINE
From North County Dublin, for the first 6 years they were known as 21 Demands, but it’s been Kodaline for the past 10 years or so. They’ve released 4 successful albums and their music has featured in 20 different movies and TV shows

DEA MATRONA
Formed in Belfast 3 years ago, Dea Matrona are proof that rock’n’roll is alive and that there really is an alternative to today’s over-synthesised, over-produced, autotuned releases. As teenagers, they googled ‘best riffs’, learnt them, brought them busking and then created their own, including Just Wanna Rock which opens with the couplet He was from Innishfree/Well, he was good for me.

AILBHE REDDY
A year ago, Dublin singer-songwriter Ailbhe Reddy was supposed to be touring in America with Paul Weller. Covid put paid to that so, instead, she released what she refers to as her ‘journey to self-acceptance’ i.e. her debut album Personal History
