Creative Learning Producer (Music & Cross Arts)

The Creative Learning Producer for Music and Cross Arts is a Fixed Term 6-month role. You’ll be responsible for leading and shaping the Barbican’s music learning programme, and for working on cross arts projects and events; in particular, managing the National Open Youth Orchestra (NOYO) London training centre.

You’ll work as part of a dynamic team of Creative Learning Producers, delivering a wide range of music and cross-arts projects with children and young people at their heart. You’ll be collaborative and flexible, and committed to work that supports access and inclusion in the arts.

You should have a strong understanding of creative education and of good practice in working with different participant groups, including families, schools and young people in a music or education environment in an art organisation. With experience of designing and delivering innovative music education projects for, with and by children. You’ll have good business skills, including experience in partnership management, and bring a thorough understanding of the education sector and the National Curriculum to your work.

You’ll have experience of working with artists to deliver innovative learning and participation experiences, and will be a strong communicator and people manager. You’ll also have a commitment to access and inclusion in the arts and sustainable creative practice.
