The Royal Academy of Music is seeking an Operations Manager to be responsible for the smooth running of the Junior Academy on a Saturday. This is a vital role within the small team responsible for the planning and delivering of all logistical arrangements required for the successful and safe running of Junior Academy.

You will work closely with the Director of Junior Academy and Administrator to plan all scheduling and timetables for students and staff including auditions, orchestral rehearsals, assessments, masterclasses and prizes. You will also deal with all staff, student and parent queries, including those in relation to safeguarding.

You will have successful operational experience and the ability to harness a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, energy and a solution-focused approach. It is essential that you have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a pressured environment and effective communicate skills. Whilst a strong interest and empathy with music education is essential, being a trained musician is not.
