Galway International Arts Festival (GIAF) is now accepting volunteer applications for its 2023 event. GIAF is a major cultural event that attracts visitors from all over the world. It offers a unique opportunity for volunteers to play a vital role in making the festival a success and contribute to their community.

Volunteers are essential to the success of GIAF. They help bring extraordinary experiences to the city, its people, and its visitors. As a GIAF volunteer, you will be part of a friendly and diverse team that welcomes and engages with audiences, ensuring they have an unforgettable festival experience.

The volunteer programme offers a variety of roles, including stewarding, ushering, and invigilating. Each role plays an important part in ensuring the smooth running of the festival. As a steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of festival-goers, while ushers help to guide audiences to their seats and answer any questions they may have. Invigilators, on the other hand, ensure the security and preservation of the art pieces.

Volunteering with GIAF is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills, make new friends and be part of a unique cultural experience. GIAF welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds and encourages anyone who is interested to apply.

No deadline specified.
