Dublin Bach Singers Summer Concert

Thursday, 27 June 2019, 7.30pm

To close the season, we are hosting two choirs for a jubilant summer concert.

DBS will perform Leonard Bernstein's thrilling Chichester Psalms and the ethereal Alleluia by Randall Thompson.

The Palestrina Choir will perfom the Miserere by Allegri.

The St Mary's Pro-Catherdral Girls' Choir will perform two works commissioned to mark their 10th anniversary and will then be joined by the Palestrina Choir for a performance of the Gloria by Vivaldi.

Finally, all three choirs will join forces to close the concert with a rousing performance of the Hallelujah Chorus by Handel.

The three choirs, soloists, orchestra and organist David Leigh will be conducted by Blanaid Murphy.
