Their debut album, written by Caimin Gilmore and Shane Sugrue, was carefully developed and recorded over the course of four years at studios in London (SARM West, formerly Island Records & Miloco Studios), Dublin (Steve Shannon, The Hive) and Australia (Burrow Studios).

Sun Collective’s songs are harmonically rich and densely orchestrated for string trio, two pianos, and three high male voices punctuated by double bass and percussion. Their Indie folk music draws on their orchestral and jazz backgrounds with influences from contemporary classical music.
