Pianist Sarah Cahill in Residency & Concert at Harrison House in Joshua Tree

On Saturday, August 9, 2020 at 10am PT, pianist Sarah Cahill will give a livestreamed performance from Harrison House, composer Lou Harrison’s desert retreat in Joshua Tree, where she is currently in residence. The free concert will be streamed on Harrison House’s website, www.louharrisonhouse.org

Cahill’s program intentionally features music suitable for an upright piano, and includes music by Lou Harrison, Mamoru Fujieda, and the remarkable 96-year-old Ethiopian nun Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou.
