The Royal Academy of Music is looking for a Theatre Production Technician to be the primary automation programmer and operator for academy and visiting company productions and to assist the technical production team as necessary across a wide range of technical disciplines and shows including full-scale Opera and Musical Theatre Productions.

Your duties will include being the Academy’s primary automation operator as well as participating in the construction of sets, props and sound systems and ensuring all technical works for a production meet with the Royal Academy of Music’s safety standards.

You will have broad experience of all Technical Theatre disciplines and ideally experience of working in an educational theatre environment, together with the ability to work independently and on your own initiative.

Completed applications must be received by 5pm on Sunday 9 August 2020. Interviews are expected to be held online via Microsoft Teams on Friday 14 August 2020.
