Jubilee Quartet

Sunday, 6 November 2022, 6.30pm

The Jubilee Quartet‘s recording of Haydn received rave reviews from the press. For their return to Conway Hall they begin with Haydn before an exciting combination of Schubert works: firstly, the chance to hear his original song ‘Death and the Maiden’, before the variations movement inspired by it from his D minor quartet. The second half features Schubert’s final quartet, composed just two years before he died.

“Brilliant and distinctive… fresh and new… makes the music’s architecture expressive in its own right.” - The Telegraph
