SCO is seeking an exceptionally well-organised and dedicated individual with at least two years relevant professional experience to develop their career in orchestral management. Reporting to the Concerts Director, the postholder will be responsible for personnel booking, rehearsal and concert management, and daily liaison with SCO players and visiting artists.

Purpose of Job

• Service the day-to-day requirements of the orchestral schedule generated by the Concerts Director
• Support the Concerts Director and Orchestra: fixing, concert and tour management, hiring/buying instruments, processing job vacancies
• Provide a welcoming and efficient point of contact for visiting artists and conductors.
• Be the first point of contact for SCO members’ concerns, problems and queries
