In association with Failte Ireland, Windmill Lane Recording Studios are delighted to host a day of music events celebrating Irish female artists on Nollaig na mBan on the 6th of January, 2023.

Session Two includes Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh a multi-award-winning traditional singer and musician from Corca Dhuibhne, West Kerry. Muireann is a leading exponent of the sean nós style, and loves to engage with audiences to share her love of the Irish song tradition.

Niamh Regan is a critically acclaimed songwriter from county Galway. Her debut album Hemet announced her arrival as one of the most distinctive songwriters in Ireland today. Earning nominations for both the RTE Folk Awards’ and the Choice Awards Album of the Year.

Rising Irish pop star Sophie Doyle Ryder has steadily been building her profile over the last year with the release of singles like ‘Hunni Hunni’ and ‘Mood’. Sophie is set to enjoy a significant 2023 by being named RTÉ 2FMs Rising One To Watch list. Sophie is currently signed with the Paradigm Agency. (Billie Eilish, Take That)
