Blow the Dust Lunchtime Concert

Blow the Dust Lunchtime Concert

Wednesday, 17 May 2017, 1.05pm

As the month of May is upon us, we are delighted to announce our Blow the Dust Annual Bealtaine Concert taking place on 17th May at 1:05pm in the National Concert Hall, as part of Age & Opportunity’s Bealtaine Festival.

The Bealtaine Festival is Ireland’s national celebration of the arts and creativity as we age.  Run by Age & Opportunity, the festival seeks to inspire and empower older people to live healthy and fulfilling lives, and encourage the active participation of older people in ways that benefit our communities and wider society.

The Blow the Dust Orchestra is the National Concert Hall’s orchestra for older or returning musicians, and in fitting with the Bealtaine theme they will perform an afternoon of uplifting and heartwarming pieces, such as The Night Visiting Song, La Vie En Rose, Carmen and Amazing Grace.

 Tickets: €8
