Leinster Fleadh Inclusive Workshops - Monday 8th July - Friday 12th July
Series of free Inclusive Workshops happening in Athboy, County Meath as part of the Leinster Fleadh 2019.
Leinster Fleadh 2019 will offer a very unique series of workshops for people with additional needs. The initiative will offer therapist-led workshops for up to 250 people over the course of the week. The workshops will cover Music, Voice, Movement and Percussion and each participant will attend on one day of their choice.
This initiative is being led by Tommy Hayes who will run the percussion workshop, while Susan Hurley, Josie Nugent and Gwen McHale will run singing, music and dance classes, allowing each participant to experience all four areas over the course of the day.
The day will culminate with an Inclusive Céilí where participants, carers, family members and members of the public can attend. There is no charge to attend the workshops, but each participant must register in advance.
We still have some places available. The workshops start on Monday, July 08th and run until Friday, July 12th. They take place in the Athboy Convent Community Centre. For more information please email [email protected] or call Eimear on (087) 6940272 for further information
