The Irish Times has an opportunity for an Audio Producer to join the Audio Team, for a 12 month contract.

This role will involve researching and originating audio content, collaborating with those participating in podcasts and working with audio technologies to produce high quality podcasts for The Irish Times.

Candidates will have experience working in audio production or research and proficiency in using digital audio workstations such as Protools, Adobe Audition or Hindenburg. A broad knowledge of current affairs and a familiarity with the podcast market and podcast platforms is important in this role.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a fast, accurate and efficient manner while adhering to the ethos and standards of The Irish Times. S/he will possess good communication skills, initiative, judgment and the ability to work with the latest technologies.
