Arts Council England invites applications for the role of Senior Relationship Manager, Strategic Partnership.

As Senior Relationship Manager at Arts Council England you will be instrumental in managing partnerships, investments and development programmes which form part of the Cultural Investment Fund. You will be responsible for the coordination of multiple programme strands, working as part of your area leadership team and managing several Relationship Managers.

About the Role
In October 2019, DCMS announced the Cultural Investment Fund (CIF) with the purpose of driving local growth, refurbishing libraries and repairing museums. CIF is a five-year programme, split into three strands that the Arts Council England will deliver: Museum Estate and Development fund, Libraries Transformation Fund and a continuation of the Cultural Development Fund.

You will play a key role in the delivery of the programme and will be responsible for a portfolio of library and museum organisations in receipt of funding, overseeing the management of this funding ensuring thorough reporting and effective grant and risk management.

A strong communicator, you will play an advisory and developmental role, supporting local authorities and partners in museums, libraries and places to work toward their project goals, whilst building their financial and operational resilience.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:
– Demonstrable experience of relationship development at all levels
– Knowledge of the challenges and opportunities faced by museums, libraries and/or organisations with a focus on delivering cultural change projects
– Strong business planning and financial reporting skills
– Experience in people and project management
– Highly developed leadership skills
