The 7th Fidelio Trio Winter Chamber Music Festival
Fri 29th Nov – Sun 1st Dec 2019
Belvedere House at DCU St. Patrick’s Campus, Dublin

Once again The Fidelio Trio – Darragh Morgan (Violin), Adi Tal (Cello), Mary Dullea (Piano) – bring a wonderful programme to the 7th year of this very special festival.

Their guests this year are the outstanding US based, Apple Hill String Quartet – Elise Kuder (violin), Colleen Jennings (violin), Mike Kelley (viola), Rupert Thompson (cello).

Amazing ambassadors for both Irish composition and the piano trio repertoire, the Fidelio Trio have programmed two world premieres (Brian Irvine and Louis Karchin) alongside the well-loved chamber works of Rachmaninov, Mozart and Schumann. This will be an astonishing weekend of great beauty and revealing and insightful performances.

The Festival opens on Friday at 7.30, with two concerts on Saturday at 6.00 and 8.00 and a final performance on Sunday at 3.00. Tickets can be purchased by credit card or in cash at the issue desk of the Cregan Library on the DCU St Patrick’s Campus. It is advisable to book tickets early as the Library of the historic Belvedere House accommodates a small audience as befits chamber music.

The Festival is brought to you by Music at DCU and GlasDrum. This project has been made possible with funding from the Arts Council – An Chomhairle Ealaíon and is supported by RTE Supporting the Arts and Dublin City University (DCU).
