The Arts Council will open applications for the Traditional Arts Bursary Award 2025 on 7 January 2025. This award supports professional artists in developing their art practice, providing funding of up to €20,000 for research, reflection, and critical engagement. Eligible applicants are individual artists working in traditional arts.

Applications must be submitted by 17:30, Thursday, 13 February 2025, through the Arts Council’s Online Services site. First-time applicants are advised to register in advance, as registration may take up to five working days.

Access supports are available for applicants with disabilities. Full guidelines and mandatory materials will be available on the Arts Council website when applications open.
