As part of its ConTempo Countywide series, the Galway Music Residency presents a very special Lunchtime Concert on Tuesday 12th February. Continuing its commitment to bringing performance to local centres throughout County Galway, and celebrating its ongoing partnership with Ballinasloe Library, the Galway Music Residency presents the Galway ConTempo Quartet in this lively concert for the local Ballinasloe community.

The programme will bring together the best of Italian classical music and a touch of Haydn! Audiences will hear one of the earliest works written for the string quartet from Alessandro Scarlatti as well as works from Italian composers best known for their Operatic skill. Also on the programme is Haydn’s String Quartet Op. 103
