
Glucksman Chair (Full Professor) in Contemporary Writing in English
The University of Limerick is inviting applications for the position of Glucksman Chair in Contemporary Writing in English, a permanent, full-time position.
The appointee will be expected to contribute to research, teaching, and leadership within the School of English, Irish, and Communication. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in English literature and a strong record in research, teaching, and leadership. The role includes overseeing curriculum development, mentoring staff, and attracting research funding. Experience in 20th and 21st-century English writing is essential, with an emphasis on Irish writers being favourable. The position offers a salary range of €140,068–€177,078 per annum. Applicants must have at least five years’ experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and PhD supervision.
