Héloïse Werner, soprano; Tippett Quartet
On Wednesday 8 March 2023 at 1:00 PM, the Wigmore Hall will present a programme of music composed by living female composers, performed by Héloïse Werner soprano and the Tippett Quartet. The concert will be approximately one hour in duration and will not include an interval.
The concert features a new piece based on a text by a multimedia science storyteller, Les Leçons du Mardi, set by the soprano herself. Héloïse Werner has been described by The Times as "an amazingly versatile soprano" and The Telegraph as "a brilliant and acrobatic vocalist". The programme also includes works by Caroline Shaw, Doreen Carwithen, Freya Waley-Cohen and Kate Whitley.
The concert is part of the CAVATINA 25 Scheme, which offers free tickets to those aged 8-25 in rows T to V. Under 35s can also purchase £5 tickets and access more information by logging in. Classic FM supports the £5 tickets for Under 35s. Additionally, Wigmore Hall account holders can access discounted ticket prices, subject to a £4 booking fee that covers the entire booking and not per ticket.
