In collaboration with composer Ian Wilson and Triskel Arts Centre in Cork, the Dublin International Chamber Music Festival (DICMF) is delighted to present 'Voces amissae' (Lost Voices). The performance will take place at Castle Hall in Dublin Castle on Friday, June 9th, at 6:00 pm.

'Voces amissae' is a notable new chamber work that delves into the various ways in which individuals have lost their voices, encompassing factors such as medical, social, political, and other reasons. This emotionally charged piece will receive its world premiere during the 2023 edition of DICMF.

Nora Fischer, a talented soprano from the Netherlands, will grace the stage with her exceptional vocal abilities, accompanied by the renowned Ficino Ensemble. The collaboration between Fischer and the ensemble promises to bring forth a poignant and thought-provoking musical experience.

The creation of 'Voces amissae' was made possible through the generous support of the Arts Council of Ireland Music Project Award, in addition to the backing from DICMF and Triskel Arts Centre.
