
Workshops @ RAMP Festival 2025 – Rathmullan, 18–20 July 2025
RAMP Festival returns to Rathmullan, County Donegal, from 18 to 20 July 2025 for its third annual celebration of experimental music and sound. Set against the backdrop of Lough Swilly, the festival presents performances, workshops and installations exploring the interaction between sound and environment.
The 2025 programme includes artists Tim Cape & Maya Kadish, Kate Carr, Juno 3 (Han-earl Park, Lara Jones, Pat Thomas), Judith Hamann, Ryoko Akama, Rob Casey, Ailbhe Nic Oireachtaigh, and Electric Circus with David McCann.
Workshops include a field recording project with Aengus Kennedy, Guillaume Beauron and Kate Carr, and Brian Irvine’s The Totally Made Up Orchestra.
RAMP is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland, Earagail Arts Festival, Contemporary Music Centre, and Rathmullan The Way Forward.

Hands‑on workshop in soundscape composition and field recording. Kate Carr leads experimental techniques; Guillaume Beauron shares documentary and electroacoustic recording practice.
