Culture Action Europe (CAE) is seeking a full-time Policy Officer, based in Brussels, to enhance its advocacy strategy. The role involves supporting the development and implementation of CAE’s advocacy actions, monitoring political and policy developments, preparing and coordinating meetings with key stakeholders, and maintaining ongoing communication with member networks and partner organisations. The Policy Officer will also be responsible for producing content for CAE’s website and publications, representing the organisation at events and in working groups, supporting CAE members in EU policy-related topics, and managing administrative tasks, including the selection and support of policy interns.

Applicants should have a Higher Education degree, excellent command of English and a good command of French, and at least four years of work experience in policy and advocacy. Other requirements include proven writing and text editing skills, knowledge of EU cultural policies and European Institutions, and strong communication, flexibility, teamwork, and intercultural skills.

The position offers a gross monthly salary of €2,400, luncheon vouchers, commuting and holiday allowances, and Belgian social security. It requires a presence in CAE’s Brussels office, periodic weekend work, and frequent international travel.
