As part of the 2025 Cúirt International Festival of Literature, Ar Thóir Bhríd Ní Mháille | In Search of Bríd Ní Mháille will take place at An Taibhdhearc, Galway, on Sunday 13 April at 5:00pm. The event will feature a dramatic reading from a forthcoming novel by writer Micheál Ó Conghaile. The novel is based on the life of Bríd Ní Mháille, the woman associated with the Irish-language songs Amhrán an Bháthadh and Amhrán South Boston.

The performance will incorporate prose, traditional song, and the Irish oral tradition of caointeoireacht (keening), and will feature contributions from Caitlín Ní Chualáin, Bridie Ní Churraoin, and Eoghan Ó Riada. Tickets are priced at €12, with a concession rate of €10, and are available via the Cúirt website.
