This is the 3rd edition of ‘Féile Binn Éadair’ the rebranded Howth Trad and Folk Festival running since 2017. There are 6 headline ticketed shows and nearly 30 free gigs and session. Howth Trad Festival takes place across 7 venues around the picturesque fishing village of Howth, 25 minutes from the centre of Dublin. This vibrant festival promises to be an unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts of all ages with its mix of FREE and ticketed shows. The music ranges from pure trad and folk to modern takes on Irish music. With almost 30 free gigs and sessions across 5 unique venues around the village and the scenic hill of Howth and ticketed headline shows at the historic Abbey Tavern and Summit Inn, this year’s festival promises an unforgettable experience.
Headliners this year include Altan, Sharon Shannon, Pogueology, Lemoncello, a double bill of Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin with Saltaire and an all ages Céilí with the Brian Boru Céilí Band.
