
Head of Vocal Studies
The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama is seeking a Head of Vocal Studies to lead its vocal department.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Cardiff with a salary range of £57,422–£66,537. Reporting to the Director of Music, the successful candidate will oversee curriculum development, teaching, performance activity, and student recruitment. Applicants must have professional experience in vocal performance or opera, a track record in higher education, and detailed knowledge of vocal repertoire and pedagogy. Responsibilities include line-managing staff, engaging with professional partners, and contributing to the College’s artistic and educational strategies.
