The Royal Academy of Music in London is hiring an Events Coordinator.

Your role will be crucial in providing high quality events assistance and coordination in support of the Academy’s philanthropic priorities. This coordination includes high-profile donor engagement events, some Academy-wide events and a series of bespoke gatherings (both virtual and in-person) throughout the year.

To be successful in this role, you will need previous hands-on events experience, along with the ability to work both proactively and as part of a team. You will be comfortable with multitasking and be confident in your approach to planning and organising events. Much of the work will involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders, so you will need to have well developed communication skills and the ability to balance tact with assertiveness amidst conflicting priorities. It is essential that the post holder has a good sense of judgement and discretion together with very strong attention to detail.

Experience working in the arts and/or higher education would be an advantage. A commitment to the Academy’s mission is essential.
