Chamber Music Manager
The Juilliard School in New York is currently seeking applicants for the role of Chamber Music Manager. This position entails overseeing the day-to-day functions of the chamber music program, including tasks such as registration, creating monthly payroll reports for the chamber music faculty, administering seminars, coordinating ChamberFest and offsite concerts, collaborating with chamber music faculty, supervising work-study assistants, and assisting with special chamber music projects.
The Chamber Music Manager will work closely with the Assistant Dean and Director of Chamber Music. This is a full-time position that requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, knowledge of performing arts and chamber music, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, diplomacy, and dedication to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
The successful candidate should be able to handle multiple tasks, make decisions under pressure, enforce policies, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, proficiency in technology, and availability for evening work as needed are also required.
The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 per year for 52 weeks.
