126 is delighted to announce our graduate residency for 2020.

This 2-month paid residency is aimed at supporting recent graduates who have unfortunately had to vacate their studios early and miss out on degree shows.

During the residency the selected artist will have access to:
– €1000 which can put towards 2 months accommodation in Galway City, materials, transport and subsidy to include artist fee.
– Private studio in the 126 Gallery from October – November (dates subject to change and can be altered to accommodate chosen artist)
– Access to all of the G126 facilities including private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, communal area, printer/scanner, WIFI and library.

2020 graduates across all disciplines, nationally and internationally are applicable

In your application please include:
– images from your degree show(virtual or documentation of work made) /
– up to date artist CV/
– artist statement /
– short cover letter describing how you would benefit/use the studio
