Program Administrator, Music Technology

NYU seeks applications for the position of Music Technology Program Administrator.

The successful candidate will manage and execute all administrative and operational functions for the academic program. Supervise and mentor program staff and provide administrative support to the Program Directors. Advise Program Directors and Department Administration on matters that affect the academic program. Manage budgets, donor funds, grants and work closely with the Program Director and Department Administration on special projects. Collaborate with and offer cross-program support for projects and initiatives involving other academic programs within the department.

Qualifications
Required Education:
– Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience:
– 2+ years relevant administrative experience.

Preferred Experience:
– Experience in higher education and an arts discipline relevant to the program.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
– Ability to provide advice, problem solve, and interact with individuals at all levels.
– Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.
– Proficiency with productivity and database software.
– Ability to arrive at creative solutions, within the framework of university policies and protocols, in order to accommodate the unique and non-traditional needs of a large, complex academic unit focused on music and the performing arts.
