This role will be critical to delivering a unique commemorative oral history exhibition project marking Irish in Britain’s 50th anniversary. Supporting first-time volunteers from across Britain’s Irish community, the post will deliver a range of heritage research, training, and curation activities as directed by the project manager.

A key aspect of the role is to support around 100 first-time volunteers to gain skills and experience in oral history interviewing; heritage interpretation; exhibition design, curation, and planning; and archiving skills.
