ChamberFest Dublin: Exchange – Collaborate – Side-by-Side
ChamberFest DUBLIN is one of the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s flagship events. This ambitious and student-led festival offers audiences morning, lunchtime, and evening opportunities to experience the RIAM’s third level students performing an exhilarating mix of chamber music concerts.
Exchange – Collaborate – Side-by-Side presents works by Zelenka, Dvorak and Coleridge Taylor with students and faculty playing alongside each other as colleagues. This format is one of music making’s most inspirational — students learn in real life contexts of playing beside an established professional and, for faculty, there is nothing quite like the energy and enthusiasm that comes from young colleagues playing repertoire for the very first time.
