ChamberFest Dublin: Final Impressions – Debussy’s Late Sonatas
ChamberFest DUBLIN is one of the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s flagship events. This ambitious and student-led festival offers audiences morning, lunchtime, and evening opportunities to experience the RIAM’s third level students performing an exhilarating mix of chamber music concerts.
Seven RIAM undergraduate students perform Debussy’s last chamber works. Originally conceived as “Six sonatas for various instruments” the cycle was interrupted by Debussy’s death and in this lunchtime concert audiences will hear the three completed works in their entirety.
