BBC Content encompasses all of the BBC’s network TV and Radio output. The team is now looking to recruit a Commissioning Editor – Arts and Classical, a senior arts voice to join the commissioning team to work across the full range of arts and classical music disciplines.

You will bring a track record of success, developing ‘best in class’ ideas, working with leading programme-makers and nurturing new talent (on and off-screen).

You will work closely with Suzy Klein, Head of Arts & Classical Music, to deliver the commissioning strategy, building and maintaining relationships with the supplier base to generate, develop and deliver the best ideas. As a natural collaborator, you will be part a commissioning team working together across single films, box sets, landmark series and performance bringing your instinct, insights and creative judgements to make the very best arts and music television.
