The deadline for the next round of the Arts Council’s Commissions Award is Thursday 16 February, 2017 at 5.30pm. The window for making an application opens on Tuesday 17 January 2017.

The following awards are available:
• Music Commissions Award
• Traditional Arts Commissions Award

The primary purpose of the award is to facilitate creative partnerships between a range of commissioners and artists. The Commissions Award supports fees paid to artists. The process must lead to some form of dissemination or presentation of the commissioned work in Ireland or abroad.

The award is open to individuals or organisations including artists, arts professionals, ensembles, local authorities and other agencies. Applications can only be made by the commissioner and not by the artist to be commissioned.

Maximum award €10,000
