Bath Spa University is hiring a Lecturer in Commercial Music.

This is a part time lecturer role within the Commercial Music team, suited to an individual with a combination of music industry and teaching experience. The Commercial Music course is focused on giving the best platform possible to launch successful careers for graduates.

The curriculum is wide-ranging and depending on your personal skill set you will be contributing to at least two of the following areas: performance, song writing, music production, promotion (live events), instrumental skills.

You will be passionate about helping young creative people realise their creative and professional potential. You will have extensive experience within the music industry as well as experience as a teacher. This could be in F.E, H.E or private sector education, either as a part time, or visiting lecturer. You will have a degree in a relevant discipline, and you may have, or be working towards, a post-graduate qualification, but equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
