The large, mixed-voice Fleischmann Choir will perform “Magnificat and Nunc dimittis” by Leo Sowerby, often called the “Dean of American church music”; Spiritual Songs by August Söderman, the pre-eminent Swedish composer of the Romantic generation; and Edward Elgar‘s choral setting of Ben Jonson’s “I Sing the Birth”.
