20 years ago on the 9th February 1995, Riverdance - The Show, the first Irish dance show ever, opened at the Point Theatre, Dublin for a sell-out five-week run, with record sales reaching over 120,000 tickets. Since that first night Riverdance has continued to break records and has played to an live audience of 25 million in over 11000 shows in 467 cities across 6 continents. In 2015, Riverdance 20th Anniversary tour will perform in Germany, Japan, Ireland (Dublin and Cork), Canada and the United States in 2015.
