Digital Communications Officer

The Royal Academy of Music is currently seeking a Digital Communications Officer to join the Communications and Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Communications and External Relations, you will support the Academy’s communications and marketing activities, with a strong focus on tracking and utilising digital data.

You will be self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills and confident using technology. With musical knowledge and an interest in the creative industries, you will have experience of data-driven digital marketing and websites along with excellent attention to detail. You will have previous experience of working in a busy communications/press office environment and managing multiple social media channels. You will have the ability to write engaging, tailored copy for a variety of audiences, and will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing schedules. Flexibility, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills are also essential attributes to this role.

Experience working in communications within the arts or higher education sectors would be an advantage.
