To survive melancholy (3) - Bruhns Praeludium E Minor - Pawel Siwczak - live mini-concert

Friday, 10 April 2020, 7.30pm

No 3 in a series of harpsichord mini-recitals recitals by Pawel Siwczak. In the midst of the world coronavirus crisis, with all the concerts cancelled, here is a little moment of respite. In this episode: Nicolaus Bruhn's Praeludium in E minor, a great, dramatic work, originially for the organ, here transcribed by Pawel for the harpsichord.

Pawel will first introduce the work and then perform it live from his home in London.
