Call for Submissions
Culture Night 2019 will take place this year on Friday 20 September, with venues & public spaces across Limerick opening their doors to host a programme of free late-night entertainment, as part of an all-island celebration of arts, heritage & culture. And it’s time to start planning our events and activities for the Limerick region.
Limerick Culture & Arts Office are doing a public call out for participants who would like to be involved in the night.
Last year, Limerick hosted over 80+ Events in 90+ Locations and drew an audience of over 21,600 People!
One of the key aspects of Culture Night is that events are free of charge to ensure that activities and venues are accessible to all members of the public.
If you are part of a club, organisation or group who would like to organise a Culture Night event, Limerick Culture & Arts Office will be there to support your involvement in this national initiative.
We will do this by listing and promoting your event in our Limerick Culture Night Brochure (please register by Friday 19th July 2019, 5pm to be included) and on the National Culture Night website. We have been awarded some funding for the support of the delivery of events and you may be eligible. By submitting your event information early and completing our Expression of Interest form we will be able to take your proposal into consideration. We also offer participants free Culture Night merchandise - balloons, badges, t-shirts - to use and distribute on the night at the events organised.
If you wish to register your event offline, please contact the Limerick Culture and Arts Office to request a hardcopy of the Limerick Culture Night registration form.
