We are searching for a talented Head of Major Giving who with the flexibility to be based in either East of England or London with regular travel to Snape, Suffolk. You will join the team at a step-change moment in our organisation’s history, with ambitions to embark on a large-scale capital campaign to develop the site significantly and, in turn, its activity.

This is a new role which has been created to underpin our ambitious growth. Working closely with the Director of Development, you will lead on the strategy development for Major Giving to build an ambitious, sustainable future for individual support for Snape Maltings, across both revenue and capital income.

Your fundraising experience will include a strong track record in raising major gifts at the five and six figure level and above. You will have a collaborative and motivational leadership style, and enjoy developing a successful team. Sophisticated communication skills will be required to work effectively with varied stakeholders, many with a high-level knowledge of music, and also with an exceptional Board.
