BBC Sounds is hiring a Producer.

The Producer will report to the Commissioning Executive, Pop Music, and play a leading role in developing BBC Sounds’ reputation as a destination for distinct and compelling music content. The role is a creative and commissioning position within our On Demand music team. Developing new, perception shifting, On Demand music formats for young audiences, and working with the wider BBC Pop networks to bring rich On Demand music experiences to our audiences.

The role includes development of Sounds only formats from the ground up into fully fledged and marketable brands as well as creating show treatments and briefs to take to commission. It requires a keen understanding of young audience needs, a background in music curation and the ability to shape distinct and sellable brands that build habit with our audiences.
