Bairie will perfom as part of Sound of Belfast, on 10 November at 11am.

Song 1: Red Wine Drunk

‘Red wine drunk’ was inspired by a night with one of my nearest and dearest in a local bar/venue, not long after I moved back from London. The night itself was a disaster but in retrospect this night was the very start of me (Emily) getting to know people in our music community, and it gives me lovely feelings thinking about everyone I’ve got to meet and work with through the arts in N.I so hopefully it’s fitting for the times we’re in.’

Song 2: Picking you up wrong

‘After such a long time not playing, recording or being able to release anything new we were excited to share songs that nobody had heard at any gigs. The restrictions changed 2020 plans massively like they did for everyone and the want to share something new became irksome. So here you go, something new!’

Bairie is on the Moving on Music emerging artists programme this year.
