This year, Mick Flannery and Valerie June will join the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra for the festival opening on Saturday, the 22nd of February. Award-winning, double-platinum selling artist, Mick Flannery has had an eventful year after releasing his self-titled sixth album, but is also after the worldwide premiere of the stage musical, Evening Train (so named after his 2007 debut album). American singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Memphis, Tennessee, Valerie June hailed by the New York Times as one of America’s “most intriguing, fully formed new talents” will deliver a spectacle of wonderful talent with her unique and stunning voice.

Right Here Right Now is a celebration of the vibrant and eclectic music scene in Ireland. Featuring Donal Lunny, Máirtín O’Connor, Nell Ní Chróinín & Strung.
