Royal Northern Sinfonia Moves

RNS Moves is a new inclusive ensemble bringing together members of Royal Northern Sinfonia and disabled musicians from across the country to perform innovative concerts.

After a week of research and development work in January 2018 and a second phase of work culminating in its debut performance at Sage Gateshead in September 2018, RNS Moves is looking to further grow its work in producing and performing excellent music in an inclusive environment, providing high-quality performance opportunities for disabled artists.

The ensemble is a large directed chamber ensemble, grown out of Royal Northern Sinfonia’s commitment to chamber music performance.

AUDITIONS

RNS are holding auditions for those who are interested in joining a pool of musicians for rehearsals and performances with RNS Moves on a project-by-project, freelance basis. This allows the instrumentation for our projects to be flexible and enables us to ensure that musicians are suited to the opportunities they are offered.

Eligible musicians applying to join RNS Moves must be 18+, resident in the UK, and have mastered their instrument to a professional level.
