The Royal Academy of Music seeks to appoint a Musical Director to join the new Junior Academy Musical Theatre programme, which starts in September 2022.

You will musically direct all projects, workshops and productions, collaborate with visiting creative teams and teach musical theatre repertoire to large and small ensembles of young singers. You will have significant recent professional experience in musical direction, significant experience of working with young people in a learning context, experience of working in a team to deliver a programme of training and a degree in musical direction.

The post is hourly-paid, term-time only. There are three 11-week terms per academic year and the role will require some additional evenings for technical rehearsals in the Summer term.
