The Royal Academy of Music seeks to appoint a Piano Accompanist and Assistant Musical Director to join the new Junior Academy Musical Theatre programme, which starts in September 2022.

You will musically assist in all projects, workshops and productions as well as source and teach musical theatre repertoire. You will have knowledge of and recent experience in accompanying singers and actors in the Musical Theatre sector, a degree in music, piano or musical direction, and experience of coaching and supporting young people.

The post is hourly-paid, term-time only. There are three 11-week terms per academic year and the role will require some additional evenings for technical rehearsals in the Summer term.
