Fiddle Monologues is a high energy one woman play mapping the journey of a violin through time and the female characters who possessed it. The play focuses on four women from 1679, 1789, 1889 and 1959 and their relationship with the violin and explores how music shapes their lives. The piece is entertaining with moments of poignancy, vulnerability, humour and reflection. All the music pieces performed in the play are original compositions by Sorcha Meehan.
