Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh with guest Fionnuala Maxwell

Friday, 3 September 2021, 7.00pm

Back At The Dock continues with a very special night of song featuring Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh a multi-award winning traditional singer and musician from Corca Dhuibhne, West Kerry. A leading exponent of the sean nós style, her repertoire also includes songs from a wide variety of folk and contemporary sources. Muireann has enjoyed success as lead singer and flute player with the Irish traditional supergroup Danú, as well as many years performing as a solo artist.

She will welcome another fine singer Fionnuala Maxwell to join her . She is an award winning traditional Irish singer, composer and tutor whose voice and personality will be well known to many Leitrim residents. She took part in The Dock's Carry the Tunes concert series earlier this year and we are delighted that she can join us and Muireann to share songs and no doubt a laugh or two.

Presented as part of The Arts Council's In the Open | Faoin Spéir
